Elementary Special Education Teacher

GACS has an Elementary special education resource room teacher position open for the 2019-20 school year.

 Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, appropriate Michigan teacher certification, meet the MDE highly qualified standards and hold a valid teaching certification with a major in an area such as Learning Disabilities, Cognitive Impairments, or Emotionally Impaired.  Candidates must also possess strong instructional skills in the core curriculum, strong classroom management skills and the ability to utilize instructional technology.  

The Board of Education may employ an individual with such alternative qualifications that the Board finds to be appropriate and suitable.
