Teaching Position Open

Part-time Early Childhood Special Education teacher

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree as well as appropriate Michigan teacher certification with any of the following: 

  1. An endorsement in both early childhood and special education
  2. A major or minor in early childhood growth education or child growth and development
  3. An endorsement with a designation of ZS (early childhood general and special education).

 

Candidates must also possess strong instructional skills in the core curriculum, strong classroom management skills and the ability to utilize instructional technology.  The Board of Education may employ an individual with such alternative qualifications that the Board finds to be appropriate and suitable.

LUNCH SERVER NEEDED


GWINN MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOLS

Gwinn Area Community Schools is seeking candidates for one (1) part-time lunch server at Gwinn Middle/High School. Position is two hours/day (11:30 am until 1:30 pm, Monday-Friday) with a starting pay of $11.35/hour. Applicants must meet all school board requirements and pass a criminal background check. Serve Safe certification is required along with the ability to lift 30-50 pounds.

KI SAWYER

Gwinn Area Community Schools is seeking candidates for one (1) full-time LRE paraprofessional position at KI Sawyer Elementary School.  Position is 6.75 hours/day with a starting pay of $11.42/hour.  Applicants must meet all school board requirements and pass a criminal background check.  

Qualified candidates must have earned at least 60 credits at an institution of higher education; or obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree; or passed the MTTC Basic Skills Test and/or the required parts of the WorkKeys Assessment.
